Role Summary:

Join our team as a property Maintenance Technician for the Madeline Hotel, serving the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by ensuring all technical and non-technical buildings, electronically ran motors and devices, H.V.A.C. systems, and ground repairs are taken care of immediately and safely.

Core Responsibilities:

Please note that this is not an exhaustive list of everything that needs to be done. Within the Auberge family, our leaders our people always find new ways to look after the business, their guests, and their team-mates. Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are:

  • Troubleshooting and/or repair of all H.V.A.C systems including, refrigeration devices, and office and audiovisual equipment
  • Minor carpentry
  • Plumbing, painting, minor automotive, gas-fired equipment repair
  • Completion of all assigned tasks in a safe and timely manner
  • Maintaining a safe and clean working environment
  • Organization of tools and parts
  • Safely filling propane tanks
  • Door lock repairs
  • Use of all power tools safely, including pressure washers and compressors
  • Move various objects for relocation and/or access
  • Assist other maintenance personnel with their job functions
  • Maintain complete knowledge of resort fire system, water system, sewage system, and irrigation system

Required Qualifications:

  • Previous experience preferred
  • Lifting, loading and unloading carts
  • Carrying supplies, products, working near hot/cold equipment
  • Pushing racks, carts. Average weight up to 50 lbs.; Occasionally. Maximum weight of 200 lbs.
  • Lifting products and tools. Average weight 35 lbs.; Occasionally. Maximum weight of 100 lbs.
